From Nigeria to ONEgeria: 50kg Bag of Rice Stands on Tinubu's Mandate.

The grand metamorphosis from Nigeria to ONEgeria bespeaks a paradigmatic shift in the trajectory of this erstwhile promising nation, precipitating a calamitous descent into the abyss of economic mismanagement. The erstwhile "Ni-(9)" has been unceremoniously elided, supplanted by the ignominious "ONEgeria," a sobriquet that serves as a lugubrious harbinger of the travails that have beset this hapless nation.

The statistics are nothing short of staggering. A 50kg bag of rice, once a mere ₦3,000 in 1999, has ballooned to a staggering ₦95,000 in 2025, representing a monumental 3,066% increase. This astronomical rise is a testament to the egregious mismanagement of the economy, wherein the value of the Naira has been rendered nugatory.

The Collapse of Nigeria:

- 1999-2007 (Vice President Atiku Abubakar's era): Nigeria, a nation endowed with promise and potential, wherein the seeds of prosperity were sown.
- 2007-2023: Nigeria, a nation ineluctably succumbing to the vicissitudes of decline, as the shoots of prosperity began to wither.
- 2023-2025(President Tinubu's era): Nigeria, a nation teetering on the precipice of collapse, as the very foundations of its economy began to crumble.
- 2025: Nigeria ceases to exist, reborn as ONEgeria, a nation in a state of utter chaos and pandemonium.

When 50kg Rice Was Not Standing on A Mandate:

- 1999: 50kg bag of rice = ₦3,000^0
- 2007: 50kg bag of rice = ₦5,000^1 (66.7% increase)

When 50kg Rice Stands on Tinubu's Mandate

- 2023: 50kg bag of rice = ₦25,000^2 (400% increase from 2007)
- 2025: 50kg bag of rice = ₦95,000^3 (280% increase from 2023)

The Tinubu administration's masterstroke, it would seem, has been the transformation of Nigeria into ONEgeria, a polity wherein the price of rice will continue to skyrocket, and the average citizen will be left to fend for themselves, bereft of the most basic necessities.

Projected Prices As Rice Continously Stands on Tinubu's Mandate:

- 2026: ₦147,250 (55% increase from 2025)
- 2027: ₦150,000 (58% increase from 2025)
- 2031: ₦300,000 (215% increase from 2025)

If President Tinubu secured a second term, his administration would last until 2031. Based on this projection, the price of rice could continue to skyrocket, exacerbate economic instability and increase poverty.

Potential Consequences:

- Economic Instability: Rising costs of living could lead to economic instability and social unrest.
- Increased Poverty: Average citizens may struggle to afford basic necessities, pushing more Nigerians below the poverty line.

ONEgeria's Future:

The future appears bleak for ONEgeria, with the citizenry condemned to cry themselves to sleep, lamenting the precipitous decline of their nation from a position of promise to one of ignominy. The Tinubu administration, however, will doubtless continue to guide them, inexorably, into the abyss.

Thus, if nothing is done to salvage the economy, ONEgeria is fast on its way to becoming ZEROgeria, a dystopian reality where the value of the currency is rendered utterly meaningless, and the citizens are left to barter for the basic necessities of life. The prospect is dire, and the consequences of inaction will be catastrophic.

The writing is on the wall: unless drastic measures are taken to revitalise the economy, ONEgeria's descent into ZEROgeria will be a fait accompli. The people of ONEgeria are left to ponder the question: what will be the price of a 50kg bag of rice in ZEROgeria and on Tinubu's mandate? A dystopian world devoid of hope and promise.
