Cunning Plans Unfold, Accountability Gap: "Cunning Man Die, Cunning Man Bury Am": A Tale Of Tinubu's Trap.

In the quaint town of Politicana, a peculiar phenomenon has been observed, wherein the cunning men, erstwhile masters of Machiavellian intrigue, have been falling prey to their own devices. The erstwhile unassailable leader, Tinubu, has been indulging in a spot of amateur sleight of hand, arresting opposition leaders on charges of corruption. However, it appears that the proverbial chickens have come home to roost, as his own hands are sullied by the unaccountable borrowed funds that have been lavished upon his administration.

The opposition leaders, erstwhile thorns in the side of Tinubu's administration, have been carted off to the dungeons of justice, accused of peculation and graft. However, as the saying goes, "those who live in glass houses should not throw stones." Tinubu's own administration has been embroiled in a controversy of epic proportions, with the revelation that a staggering N57 trillion has been borrowed in a mere 23 months. One is left to ponder the raison d'être behind such profligacy and whether the funds have been utilised judiciously.

The cunning men of Politicana, it seems, have been playing a game of cat and mouse with the citizenry. Tinubu's administration has been accused of using the EFCC as a tool to harass and intimidate opposition leaders whilst turning a blind eye to the questionable activities of its own operatives. This blatant display of partisanship has not gone unnoticed, and the populace is beginning to wise up to the machinations of their leaders.

As the saying goes, "cunning man die, cunning man bury am." It appears that Tinubu's own cunning may ultimately prove to be his undoing. The borrowed funds, once seen as a panacea for the nation's economic woes, now threaten to become the instrument of his downfall. The people of Politicana are no longer fooled by the antics of their leaders and are demanding accountability and transparency in governance.

The opposition leaders, though detained, have not been silenced. They continue to cry foul, alleging that the Tinubu administration is using the EFCC as a tool to crush dissent and opposition. The international community is also taking note, with many calling for greater transparency and accountability in the use of borrowed funds.

As the evening sun sets over Politicana, one can not help but wonder what the morrow will bring. Will Tinubu's administration continue to ride roughshod over the opposition, or will the people rise up and demand justice? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: the cunning men of Politicana will stop at nothing to maintain their grip on power.

In the end, it is the people who will ultimately determine the fate of Tinubu's administration. Will they be fooled by the cunning man's antics, or will they demand accountability and transparency? The answer, much like the borrowed funds, remains to be seen.
